Signage Rebranding

Same Business. Bold New Statement.

Rebranding a business is never just a logo change – and when it reaches your signage, it’s the moment your new identity becomes real, physical and impossible to miss. Whether you’re refreshing one site or relaunching a national estate, signage rebranding only works if every location gets there on time, on brand, and without disrupting the business behind it.

Hollywood Monster delivers signage rebranding at any scale. From a single flagship transformation to phased rollouts across dozens of sites, we handle design, fabrication, and installation in-house – so your new brand shows up consistent, on schedule, and unmistakably yours, wherever it lands.

Every Rebrand Starts With a Reason

No two signage rebranding projects are triggered rebrands happen for the same reason, and your signage strategy should reflect that. We work with businesses rebranding because of:

  • A merger or acquisition bringing two identities together
  • A refreshed brand identity, logo or visual direction
  • A change of ownership or franchise structure
  • Repositioning in a new market or against new competitors
  • An estate that’s grown inconsistent over time and needs to feel like one brand again
  • A renewed focus on sustainability, quality or customer experience

Whatever’s driving the change, the outcome has to be the same: an identity that shows up consistently, confidently, and on time, everywhere your business has a presence.

National Rollout? We Build the Solutions to Match

Signage rebranding rarely happens in one weekend. Multi-site rollouts mean managing dozens, sometimes hundreds, of locations, each with its own site conditions, install windows and operational constraints. Close every location at once, and you lose trade. Roll out too slowly, and half your estate looks out of date while the rest has already moved on.

We manage phased rebrand rollouts as standard, coordinating production, delivery and installation site-by-site so your business stays open, your brand rolls out in a controlled sequence, and no location is left looking behind the curve for longer than it has to.

Consistency is the hard part of any large-scale signage rebranding project – colour matching, material finish, and install quality all need to hold steady from the first site to the last. Our in-house production and colour management technology keeps every site aligned to the same brand standard, whether it’s site three or site three hundred.

Case Study: Transforming BP Pulse Live!

Hollywood Monster was appointed to deliver a full-scale visual transformation of one of the UK’s most iconic live entertainment venues, relaunching the NEC Birmingham arena as BP Pulse Live. Hosting over 100 shows and 700,000 visitors a year, the brief was to create a bold new identity that could perform under the pressure of a live events calendar and redefine the guest experience from arrival to seat.

The challenge: deliver exterior impact, seamless interior branding, and a guest experience that felt as world-class as the performances, all with zero disruption to a packed live schedule.

Works included 1,800m² of deep blue exterior vinyl, custom-fabricated acrylic, aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel features, interior vinyls for wayfinding and brand messaging, foamex and tensioned fabric systems, integrated LED illumination across key exterior and interior elements, and refurbishment and illumination of the architectural tower ring. Over 3,000 man-hours and a mix of bespoke materials went into the transformation, delivered around a live events calendar that never stopped.

Signage Rebranding, Done Sustainably

Signage rebranding shouldn’t mean landfill for your old signage. Wherever refacing or reuse makes sense, we take that route first – reducing waste and cost without diminishing the impact of the new identity. Where full replacement is the right call, we work with PVC-free and recyclable materials, including Kavalan and UFabrik, and energy-efficient production processes, so your new brand launches without an unnecessary environmental price tag.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a signage rebrand and a brand refresh?

A brand refresh usually updates specific elements – a logo tweak, new colours, updated messaging – while keeping the core identity intact. A full signage rebrand reflects a bigger change: a new identity, merger, ownership change or repositioning that needs to show up consistently across every site and touchpoint.

Do I need to replace all my existing signage during a rebrand?

Not necessarily. In many cases, existing sign frames and structures can be refaced or repainted to reflect a new identity, saving cost and reducing waste. We assess this on a site-by-site basis and recommend full replacement only where it’s genuinely the better outcome.

Can you manage a rebrand across multiple sites at once?

Yes. We regularly manage phased signage rollouts across multi-site and national estates, coordinating production and installation so locations are updated in a controlled sequence without disrupting trading.

How do you keep signage consistent across a large rebrand rollout?

Consistency is maintained through in-house production, colour management technology, and a single project team overseeing every site — so brand standards, materials and finish stay aligned whether it’s the first site or the last.

How long does a signage rebrand take?

Timelines depend on scale — a single-site rebrand can move quickly, while multi-site and national rollouts are typically phased over a longer programme to protect trading and installation quality. We build a schedule around your business’s specific constraints.

Can signage be updated without closing a site or venue?

In most cases, yes. Our BP Pulse Live rebrand was delivered around a full live events calendar with zero disruption to operations — the same approach applies to retail, hospitality and commercial rebrands.
