Sustainable Signage Materials

Sustainable signage materials mean materials that we meet our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs when it comes to producing signage.

Our UFabrik range has been a game-changer when it comes to being a sustainable signage business. This material is manufactured from plastic bottles, which are then cleaned, sorted and shredded into flakes. These flakes are then converted into pellets which are melted into extruded fibres and spun into yarn. From here, the yarn when woven forms the unique substrate of the UFabrik range. It is:

• Fully sustainable
• Reusable
• Recyclable
• Suitable for a range of signage including wall coverings, hanging banners, display frames and canvas prints

PVC Free Signage Materials

As a wide format printer previously handling thousands of metres of PVC banners each week, we are committed to improving our sustainability. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the world’s third-most widely produced synthetic polymer of plastic, and we are on a mission to banish its use at Hollywood Monster.

Our Kavalan range has revolutionised this mission, a material that is totally PVC free and clean. It has the same look, feel and quality as PVC and can also be welded, all whilst being environmentally friendly. Kavalan also weighs 50% less significantly reducing carbon emissions in transportation. It doesn’t stop at the production line, after products have been used, incinerating just one 3.2m roll of Kavalan can generate enough energy to power an iPhone for over 5 years.
