Hollywood Monster, one of the UK’s leading large-format print, hard and digital signage specialists, has appointed Dave Cowen as Commercial Manager, bringing three decades of print industry expertise to the company’s growing national presence.
Cowen joins Hollywood Monster with an exceptional track record spanning the entire spectrum of large-format print production, from shop floor operations through to senior leadership roles. His experience covers the full range of digital print technologies – including super-wide format (3m x 5m) roll-to-roll and flatbed systems across solvent, UV, and latex platforms – as well as screen printing and dye sublimation.

Throughout his career, Cowen has held positions ranging from Printer and Production Manager to Sales Director and Managing Partner, with recent senior management experience at an international PLC. This breadth of experience means he understands both trade partners and direct client challenges from every angle – a crucial advantage when managing the end-to-end delivery of complex brand activations and national rollouts.
His expertise extends beyond print production to encompass complete project management, from initial surveys and mock-ups through to manufacturing and on-site activation. Whether clients need production-only services, full turnkey solutions, or a supply of finished graphics for self-installation, Cowen has delivered across all models throughout his career.

His role will focus on expanding the company’s national client base whilst supporting existing partnerships with agencies and trade partners, brand teams and contractors.
