Aston Villa Flag Signage

We printed and installed a giant 25metre x 15metre flag for the F.A Cup playoff semifinals at Aston Villa Football Club. Printed on our Dye Sub machine using water-based inks, we had to use 50 diameter Marine rope to ensure this would be safe and secure as it was to be unveiled over the Holte End as the players walked out of the tunnel. We had a team of 6 abseilers to rig and secure this and make sure it was made safely secured as a sports signage piece.

The access issues on this project made it a demanding task that we relished, with the only logical route for access being with trained roped access personnel. The complication in access and installation of this flag (in a live setting above football fans) made for a challenging but rewarding project, with an outstanding end result.
