April is already set to be a success for Hollywood Monster, as it has been announced as a ‘Preferred Supplier’ to the NEC Group. For the next two years, the experts in printing and signage will be providing services for the Group’s venues, shows and events.
The NEC Group is one of the world’s largest venue management companies, consisting of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), International Convention Centre (ICC), the Vox at Resorts World Birmingham, Genting Arena, and the Barclaycard Arena. Hollywood Monster’s new tender ensures that the company will provide signage across all the venues, for events, commercial spaces, branding and rebranding, as well as wayfinding. Given that the NEC alone hosts over 500 events each year and attracts an immense 2.1million visitors annually, the newly-won contract guarantees that the NEC Group’s guests will be guided in the right direction.
Hollywood Monster is no stranger to venue signage: the company also provides graphics and signage for a number venues and a host of world class events across the country. The partnership with the NEC Group has been cultivated over a number of years; Hollywood Monster has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with the Group, working closely with the ICC in particular, for previous events such as British Small Animal Veterinary Association and The Conservative Party Conference. However, this year marks the first that Hollywood Monster has been named as a ‘preferred supplier’, cementing the relationship between the two Midlands-based companies.
Speaking about the tender, Hollywood Monster’s Business Development Manager, Chris Kelly, said:
“I am so pleased that Hollywood Monster has won this tender. All of the jobs that we have completed for the NEC Group in the past have been really exciting and I look forward to continuing to work on such varied, high-profile projects in the future. Its venues are home to the biggest exhibitions, concerts, conferences and one-off events in the world so we’re sure to get a variety of requests coming through. Adding to this, Simon McKenzie, Hollywood Monster’s Sales Director, commented:
“The NEC Group is such a well-known company, even beyond the Midlands, so the fact that it has chosen us, a fellow Birmingham-based business, to work so closely with is really exciting. We can’t wait to see what projects lie in store and how this partnership continues to grow going forward. “We continue investing in the best printing technology to ensure that we remain a true player in the UK market. Some of our new machines, such as the MTEX-5032 and Vutek flat bed printer, allow us to pull off some of the biggest and best jobs. We can print up to 5-metre wide formats with the Vutek, as well as create textile printing with the MTEX-5032 that allows for work to be sent in small and flexible packages. In the market we operate, it’s all about remaining at the forefront of technology, and our agility and expertise are what the NEC Group requires to satisfy its clients’ needs.”
